epic_haywood_2014Here are two new West Asheville businesses to be on the lookout for:

Get It, Kitten! at 428-C Haywood Road. From the Get It, Kitten page on Facebook:

A new clothing and accessory store opening soon in West Asheville! This locally owned and operated one-stop retro-style-shop will feature items for all: Men, Women, Plus size and everyone in between. Check back soon for rockabilly style dresses, formal wear, kick ass pencil skirts, bad-ass blue jeans, and so much MORE!

Epic Cycles, at 800 Haywood Road, beneath Odd’s Cafe:

I dropped in and chatted with owner Allan Hightower. Epic Cycles has been open in Black Mountain since 1999. The second location in West Asheville is meant to be more of a low key shop aimed at helping the local community of riders, Hightower said. He’s got mountain bikes and commuter bikes, he said, including lower-priced close-outs. The shop doesn’t have a storefront – you’ve got to walk or ride down the alley next to Odd’s to find it.

Sounds like a recipe for success…or not.
