The two people getting married are Rebekah Gregory and Pete DiMartino, who survived the Boston Marathon bombing last year. From TheKnot:

Rebekah and Pete were at the finish line of the Boston Marathon cheering on Pete’s mother. When the bomb exploded, Rebekah shielded her young son. She has endured 15 surgeries and the fear of the possible amputation of her leg, which she still faces today. Pete lost 90 percent of his right Achilles tendon and suffered multiple broken bones in his ankle. He has undergone surgeries and months of physical therapy. Their shared experience as a result of the explosion and surviving their injuries brought them even closer together and strengthened their relationship.

Online voters picked Asheville, which is the couple’s favorite vacation destination. Everything from the wedding dress for Rebekah and men wedding rings on manlybands.com for Pete will be sorted and it’s going to be nothing short of fabulous. The location choice of Asheville beat out cities including Boston, New York and Louisville. TheKnot chose Biltmore as the wedding venue for the ceremony, set for April 4. It will be streamed live on TheKnot.com. More from TheKnot:

Rebekah and Pete will receive the ultimate romantic wedding, created by Marcy Blum and her team at Marcy Blum Associates.
