The Asheville Faerie Arts Festival returns to the Renaissance Hotel for its 2nd year, and along with it, the entertaining Faerie Fashion Show featuring the work of local fashion designers and businesses taking place on Saturday, November 15th at 7 pm. For this year’s fashion show, designers were asked to created “naughty” inspired faerie designs, so attendees can expect to see lots of corsets, tulle, and sexy looks on the runway. With over a dozen fashion designers displaying their work, the Naughty Faerie Fashion Show will also have nearly 30 models that will walk the runway in naughty faerie looks to live music by DJ Sai Ofninth.

“It’s a really fun theme to work with,” says the director of the Naughty Faerie Fashion Show, Sarah Merrell. “We have some really talented designers in this show, and hairstylists and makeup artists too. I think attendees will be very entertained.” Merrell was selected by the Asheville Faerie Arts Festival producer, Rock Eblen, to work on the show. A long time model and founder and administrator for the Asheville Model Network, Merrell also plans and directs fashion shows and photo shoots and is thrilled to be working on this unique fashion show. In addition to the fashion show, the Asheville Faerie Arts Festival offers a day-time segment, before the fashion show, featuring storytelling, costumes, a magic show, puppets, and more.

Tickets for the Asheville Faerie Arts Festival are $10 in advance, or $15 the day of the show and can purchased at Malaprops Bookstore or online. Children’s tickets are $5. More information on the event can be found at bioflyer.wordpress.com. The event is a benefit for Eblen Charities.
