NANI’S ROTISSERIE CHICKEN

A feast of Nani’s Rotisserie Chicken, delivered fresh, hot, and delicious by Kickbackavl, of course!

Posted to KickbackAVL Facebook Page on 4/19/2021

Nani’s Rotisserie Chicken is one of our most popular Restaurant Partners, ad is well-loved at my house too! Yesterday I ordered their Family Meal, with a whole piri piri chicken, four sides and a salad, and boy was it ever gooooood! Pure comfort. Their side dish of charred green beans is quickly becoming one of my favorite sides in town! They serve it cold, and I like it that way, but it also heats up very nicely! The other sides pictured here are braised winter greens, taters au gratin, and savory corn pudding. It was all delicious, and delivered fresh, hot, and delicious to my house by one of our awesome Kickback drivers!

PRO-TIP: Nani’s runs out of chicken every night, so get your orders in early!

NACHOS & BEER

Posted to Stu Helm: Food Fan Facebook page on 4/17/2021

After a hard morning of packing boxes and clearing away black clouds, my fam and I grabbed a bite together at Nachos & Beer in Fairview. I got combo plate #8, which had an enchilada, a tamale, and a taco, and would you look at that: The taco was crunchy-style! And I promise you I didn’t request it that way! (I will absolutely cop to the fact that I put ketchup on it though. I’m devolving as a human being.) I loved every bite of this food and it really hit the spot at the exact right time!

Hey, Y’all! Here’s episode 2 of the all new Asheville Food Fans podcast! This week, Rick and I start with the Wing Thing, and talk about chicken wings from four different restaurants, plus we discuss the nation-wide chicken wing shortage (it’s real!). We also do a segment of Where’d Ya Eat and What’d Ya Cook? Rick gives some tips on making bacon at home! He says it’s easy, and I tell him it’s even easier to just ask your friend Rick if he’ll bring you some bacon. #truth attn: HomeGrown, WILD Ginger PHO Restaurant, Avenue M, Strada Italiano, Sand Hill Kitchen, Twisted Laurel Downtown Asheville. Thank you to our producer Davyne Dial and WPVM 103.7 Community radio featuring the arts & culture of Asheville.
