I just want to say that I think this guy is awesome. This past Spring, a group of teachers at a local elementary school started an afterschool club for students who for various reasons were not able to access many of the local attractions this town is known for. During one such outing, John Fleer and the staff at Rhubarb treated the group of 9 students to an absolutely amazing 3 course family style meal. Plate after plate was brought before these students and John and the staff went above and beyond in making the kids feel special! They talked to the kids about where the food came from, how it was prepared, and gave the kids time to ask questions. The amount of food served to our tables would have run hundreds of dollars had we been charged and the incredible care and attention they delivered to the students was priceless. For the staff involved that day, we were stunned and it was a highlight of the school year. John Fleer, thanks so much for helping create such a special day for our students that day! Good luck on this new project!
