More relaxation
We returned to the Migun place on Hendersonville Road for 30 minute sessions on consecutive days, once again unable to turn down a free ride on an incredibly relaxing massage bed.
The first session found us waiting about 10-minutes for an open bed. Once again, all 21 beds in the place were full with people, eyes closed, undulating as the bed slowly manipulated their spines and worked them with the penetrating, far infrared heat of its lamps.
The astral music washed over us, and we felt quieted. We held the two towels we were told to bring loosely as we waited for our names to be called. We saw all ages. We saw mostly women. Just as in the first time we visited, we saw a person totally sacked out on the bed, a woman this time.
We found ourselves unable to totally relax because of the bustling activity on the second visit. Our third visit was disturbed by a cabbage-sewer smell permeating the room. One of the Migun workers said the stench penetrated the entire building, and building owners were searching for the pipe problems. That didn’t do much to ease the olafactory assault, but the bed still felt great. The third session focused on the lower back, with the massage units rolling and holding us in mild stretches that left us a bit sore a day later. But it was certainly worth it – again, the use of the beds is offered at no cost, free of charge, for as many times as you want to go. We heard the Migun store owner say she’d sold some 170 beds, and that as long as she keeps selling them, she’ll keep offering the use of them free to people because she knows how much it can help.
