Loyal reader Anneliesse recently gave me a heads-up about plans for a new late-night art market, Moonlit Artist Market, being organized at Burial Beer.

Asheville has a real dearth of late-night activities, so this should be cool. (Also, check out Anneliesse’s awesome art at SpoonandHook; on Instagram here.) Here’s the Burial Beer call to artists:

Burial Beer Co. is hosting a Moonlit Artist Market that will run from June through October on the second Thursday of each month. Inspired by Asheville’s warm nights and the creativity that happens after dark, we invite artists of all mediums to participate, showcase works and sell them and others to come by, grab a beer, listen to music and peruse Asheville’s local craftwork.

Space is limited and in order to get a balance of art forms for each market, the application are on a first come, first serve basis and will also be juried. The earlier you apply the more consideration your application will receive for each market.

FIRST APPLICATION DEADLINE: MAY 9TH
FIRST MARKET: THURSDAY, JUNE 9TH
