Steak_n_Shake_2013Folks over at Reddit Asheville say that the new Steak ‘n Shake in the works at Northridge Commons in Weaverville is hiring.

Construction has been happening for the past few months at the Monticello Road shopping center anchored by Wal-Mart. The new Steak ‘n Shake will be built next to the Lowe’s store in the shopping center.

Steak ‘n Shake is based in Indiana, according to Wikipedia, and has more than 400 company owned eateries, plus another 100 restaurants owned by franchisees. The diners have drive-thrus and are usually open 24 hours. Folks who’ve eaten say the milkshakes are to die for.

We’ll post more information as we get it.

Wish other restaurants would consider being located here. Maybe even a few local restaurants too. La carretta seems like they have been doing better, business wise in weaverville than north asheville. Would be nice if 12 bones had to move, they could locate one over by lowes. we have LBTD so we need something!

Me too – I used to have to wait until I went to FL to get a platter of shoestring fries! I think they still do happy hour from 2-4 for half-price shakes.

Yep, three times a year I go to Atlanta and three times a year I eat at Steak and Shake. I might have to move to Weaverville. LOL

Well I should be taking a trip to Weaverville at least twice a month now. I can’t wait for those awesome burgers, fries, and shakes.
