From Earth Fare, the Take Your Tomato Contest:

To enter, take a photo of a tomato in an exotic location, dressed as its alter ego, or just looking juicy and delicious on the vine. We want you to get creative with your photos! Your tomato can come from Earth Fare or your garden.

Email your photo (JPEGs only, please!) name and preferred Earth Fare location to [email protected] before 11:59pm EST on 7/20/2012.

A jury of Earth Fare team members will choose the top ten photos for the Grand Prize and Healthiest Tomato categories. We’ll post the finals to for voting Wednesday, 7/25 through Sunday, 7/29.

Once the photos are posted, it’s up to YOU to decide the winners! Voting will close at 11:59pm EST on 7/29. Winners will be announced Monday, 7/30. Encourage your friends to vote for your photo, and to sweeten the deal, we’ll give you a juicy coupon just for voting!

From LAAFF: Love LAAFF, Freak Local photo competition

At 5pm on Tuesday, August 7th 2012, the Hop will host a fundraiser for Arts2People & LAAFF in the form of an exhibition of works to be sumbitted by you and some mad tasty ice cream cones! In honor of the fetival’s manifesto, I thought we would put together a photo contest for this exhibition.

Please submit a digital image to [email protected] with your favorite local person, place, or thing.

DEADLINE is July 20th.

Images that are selected will need to provide one, 11×14 framed image, for sale, for the night of August 7th. PRIZE for the winners by people’s choice will be 1st=$100, 2nd=$75, and 3rd=$50. The top 3 images will hang in the LAAFF Exhibition at 5 Walnut Gallery for the month of September during LAAFF.
