Russ, Edward, Julie and peeing in a Pringles can

A couple of loyal readers e-mailed us about the WLOSers verging into some unchartered territory with their happy talk on the Saturday night 11. Here’s what the viewers told us:

Edward Mcdonald, the sports guy, ended the broadcast with a story about a guy trying to set a new Guinness Book of World Records record for the longest ride on a stationary bike – more than 82 hours straight.

So then Edward turns it over to Russ “Beefcake” Bowen, who asks something about how the guy went to the bathroom on the bike. “Was he equipped?” Russ queried.

“O no you ditn’t,” Edward said. “You didn’t just go there. OK, you did. You want to know?” Edward explains that somebody raised a screen around the biker, who peed in a Pringles can.

Meantime, Julie Blunder is laughing her ass off. Pounding the anchor desk, she’s laughing so hard. “Can we just go to the weather?” She gets through the final accu-hunch, then starts laughing her ass off again.

Lord help us.

It seems like Russ brings out Julie’s personality. They all three have great chemistry. It’s different than the rest who all look like they hate each other or who’s personalities put us to sleep.

Pringles? They actually have devices for this sort of thing. Seems like it was something no one considered until the last minute.
"Hey what if Jack has to pee?"
"Wait a mo, only have a few pringles left…"

The last couple of nights it seems that Edward, aka Stuart Scott lite, has been trying to lighten things up upon his return to the desk…

First, the Pringles story.

Then, tonight (Sunday) it was a story of a walrus doing situps.

I think this might become a trend.

Gotta wonder why a Pringles can? Volume is good, but the opening is pretty small for peddling and pissing at the same time.
