I wonder if the Zona lofts or something else like it will get revived. It’s be great if the Sourh Slope boom includes a couple decent apartment buildings so people live there too and make it a more complete neighborhood.
There’ve been several articles on this website regarding this.

when are they kicking off their kick-starter campaign I wonder?
I believe “Public School” was the name of the bar owned by Timothy Oliphant’s character in “The Office”, season 7.
So the worst thing I can say about the name is that it is un-original.
Terrible name? Are you kidding? I think it’s amazing! Really looking forward to this place opening. Great location, and you can bring your dog! This is a win for downtown Asheville!
yeah…. everybody chill! this place serves alcohol! they can call themselves anything they want…… as long as they have alcohol!
yayy! It will be nice to have another bar, bar in that area. I love beer just as much as the next person but sometimes you need some liquor! The prospect gets a little competition.
That’s a really bad name for a bar.
I’m no prude, but seriously. That’s awful.
Seriously! Who the hell came up with that idea? I suppose it will be full of kids in the afternoon and evenings, while their parents zone out with a drink and stare at their iphones.
I’m still upset that “Nuns on Top” got changed because people were offended.
Yah! Building permits are rolling out. The party at 32 Banks is just getting started.
