PHOTOS: Harris Teeter opens on Merrimon Avenue in Asheville; Trader Joe’s is next

Here’s a quick photo gallery capturing what the busy Merrimon Avenue corridor at the intersection of Chestnut looks like. I shot the photos on Tuesday. I didn’t make it out to the opening of Harris Teeter this morning (Wednesday), but as far as I can tell, everything went off without a hitch. The new traffic signal near the store is up and running. (I’m resting up for the Sept. 27 opening of Trader Joe’s.)

    You know whats more amazing in your pictures? That super blue sky! Almost cant believe It. Ben a really cloudy and hazy summer. Man it was a great day!
