A group of Asheville’s top fashion designers, models, hair stylists and make-up artists were on display at last weekend’s “Catching Dreams: A Bohemian Fashion Show” event at the Masonic Temple in downtown Asheville. The event was produced by Hatchett Creative Group, the mother-daughter team of salvage artist Darlene Hatchett and jewelry artist Amber Hatchett.

The designers represented were: Elise Olson of On the Inside, Erin Hoffman of Airweaver Apparel, Rachel Weisberg of RW by Rachel Weisberg, Royal Peasantry (softer bohemian side), Rebecca Freeman of House of Fabric, Brooke Priddy (finale look), Amy Day Dougherty of Nebula Beauty Lab (natural Quartz head pieces), Amber Hatchett Designs (jewelry), Caro Designs (jewelry), Elementality (jewelry) and Flora (flower crowns). Designers were asked to create four to six bohemian looks and pair at least one of those looks with clothing/accessories from a local boutique.

Photographer Stewart O’Shields was on hand to document the show. Check out his awesome photos.

Hey, it’s the Masons. You either know the secret handshake or you don’t.

That being said, I can show you the subtle, yet specific way to arrange your feet and hands when you’re standing before a judge. If he’s a Mason, he’ll show you leniency.
