   Shorty is funny and he is always smiling. Even when I said no to his panhandling.

   these guys are funny. i walked past them a couple months ago and they asked me to tell them a joke. i did & then asked them to tell me one. shorty said ‘knock knock’
   i said ‘who’s there?’
   he said ‘a kid that’s too short to reach the doorbell.’
