There’s a big new shopping center under development along Airport Road in south Asheville. Check out these recent property transfers:

• 2 tracts on Airport & Rutledge Roads, $1,850,000, RJS of Buncombe County
LLC to NC Arden Airport LLC

• 4.70 acres at Airport & Rutledge Roads, $2,150,000, Chunn’s Cove LLC to NC
Arden Airport LLC

• 345 Airport Road, $1,760,000, SGGS Enterprises LLC to NC Arden Airport LLC

It’s confirmed that Kirkland’s, a home decor store, is moving in. Word on the street is that Dick’s Sporting Goods is also planning to move into the new development. As usual, more as I get it. Thanks to multiple loyal readers for the heads-up on this.
