Jackson Underground considering outdoor seating

With spring bringing summer-like temperatures (will we actually hit 85 degrees today?), lots of folks are thinking about eating outside. There are plenty of great options around downtown Asheville, and we might be seeing one more added to the list. The Jackson Underground Cafe, the great new sammich shop in the basement of the Jackson Building down on Pack Square, is checking to see if there’s enough sidewalk space t accommodate a few tables and chairs.

That would be a great addition, and a great advertisement, for the new shop, which is still hard to find for a lot of folks (especially tourists).

The tourist will love it so we’d better get there EARLY to enjoy our wonderful weather at the best sandwich shop going !!

I have eaten at the Jackson Underground and it is Awesome!!! I love the ambiance and the food is great!! "owners" Steve and Elizabeth are friendly and make you feel like you are part of the family. I am glad to hear that they are going to be putting tables outside but then…it won’t be the local’s little secret anymore will it??
