There will be an after party as well, at the Yacht Club 87 Patton Ave Asheville NC 28801 10PM – 2AM

James, who recently moved to Asheville and bought a house here, is opening his shop in a former bead shop on Wall Street. He’s named his shop Love Hate Asheville. James is a former star of the reality TV show Miami Ink and NY Ink.

    Yep, there have been tattoo shops downtown before (and currently I think). Ami is an amazing artist, he’ll do well.

    Has there ever been a tattoo parlor this deep into the tourist-y part of Downtown Asheville before? Seems like a good spot given his celeb status, but he’s not much like his neighbors . . .

      Empire tattoo is right around the corner, practically in Pritchard park. It’s been there for at least a dozen years.
