posana_2013This looks fun. Never heard of Veria Living – not sure if this is a web-based show or what. Press release here:

I wanted to loop you in on the weekend happenings at Posana Café. Veria Living’s Good Food America, a show dedicated to telling the stories behind some of the nation’s best and healthiest restaurants, will be filming at Posana Sunday, Oct. 20, with opportunities for diners to be interviewed at 5 p.m. We’d love to have Posana fans at the restaurant for the taping.

Although the show won’t air until probably Spring, they’ll be interviewing diners, Chef Peter Pollay, and will do a behind-the-scenes segment with three different dishes in the kitchen. The camera crews will follow the preparation of the featured dishes out to diners’ tables where the diners will be interviewed about the restaurant and their thoughts on each dish.

They’ll be featuring:
Primary: Seared Georgia Quail served with a butternut squash ravioli and local veggies
Secondary: BBQ Spiced Sunburst Farms Trout with stone ground Boonville Mill Grits, white cheddar, fennel-olive oil slaw, charred tomato vinaigrette
Tertiary: Hemp Salad with local greens, hemp seeds, hemp oil, Theros olive oil, sprouts, lemon

Host Danny Boome will travel the country to discover each region’s healthiest restaurants, their native ingredients, and homegrown talent that keeps locals coming back for more. The series will make stops in Maine, Vermont, New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Chicago, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia and Maryland.
