We’re still totally out up here in Leicester. I didn’t see any from here to Biltmore this whole weekend.
severely jumped the gun on this one Ash. Maybe tomorrow.
One station with gas from downtown out Tunnel Road to the Parkway and outside Fairview on 74A. You spoke too soon. It’s shameful that tourists haven’t been warned.
still fuct. good thing i’ve been hoarding…
No gas in Arden.
Are they sending some of that gas down to Henderson County??
No Gasoline in Western North Caorlina at all. City closing offices and Schools are closing.
What no gas in Asheville allegedly means for the newspaper:
No Gas
No Travel
No Delivery
No Sales
No Revenue
More Advertising Bonuses
More lay offs
Did I read that right?
yeah it still sucks right now, hey ash did you catch nathan ramsey reading at the press conference, he never looked up. gantt should use that in his ad for commission chair and say "leader or reader".
on the bike ride in today. I saw longer lines at the one station on haywood rd that had gas.
yeah, i read your report and went out to find long lines…but not as long. no fights or anything.
ok, maybe i’m a little too quick on the trigger. there are two things going on here: first, there IS more gas at local stations. second, for the first time, I’ve noticed considerably fewer people driving cars and trucks on the streets and highways of Asheville. it’s almost eerie, it’s so quiet.
Thanks Ash for the reporting. Seems your counterparts are a little late on the story. Good job.
