Damn sorry we missed that (the assless chaps, not the pizza)

We heart the blogging lesbo over at the What the Hell? blog. She keeps it real and almost always makes us laugh.

We’ve been so dang busy helping other people keep an edge to their blog (ahem) that we’re just now catching up on the goodness of the other bloggies. So here’s the tidbit we liked from K at What the Hell?

On our way to dinner at the Mellow Mushroom, Foxy and I crossed Lexington Avenue at about 7:45 pm on Saturday. Heading south we saw three young punky types, typical for Lex, except that one of them was wearing chaps. I know its redundant to say assless chaps, because all chaps are assless, but these were sparkly, red, assless chaps.

There are very few people blessed enough to sport chaps without pants, and fortunately, this young woman had every right to wear them. There was some sort of leather thong underneath, which apparently satisfies the letter of the law regarding appropriate undergarment attire, but really, these chaps were a leather platter upon which was served the loveliness of her pert, tanned young bum. Both Foxy and I were disturbed and titillated. After all, if just anyone can parade down the street in chaps, what’s to prevent those who should not, other than common decency?

Unfortunately, I have no pictorial evidence.

In other news, the Mellow Mushroom sucks heartily, with crappy service, a one note, non-seasonal menu, and the slowest kitchen in town.

You got Mellow Mushroom, and you see a hot chick in assless chaps.

I go to Mellow Mushroom…and I get pizza with cardboard for crust and bad case of the runs.

    Life is unfair 🙁

I like the Mellow Shroom’s za. The service does suck, though. K, you must remember to ALWAYS carry a camera. At least that’s what Ash keeps reminding me.

That’s for the edge, guy. You did good. Sorry it kept you so busy!

Thanks, Ash! The chaps, well, actually, the ass, was truly spectacular.

I miss Lexington Avenue.. but not the Mellow Mushroom – unless all you are doing is drinking beer.
