From the Asheville Scene’s Beer Guy aka Tony Kiss:

Catawba Valley Brewing will open a seven-barrel brewhouse in Buncombe County sometime this year. Brewery founder Scott Pyatt will not confirm a location yet. The new brewhouse will make “boutique” beers, have a tasting room and will also be distribution center where Catawba Valley can send its Morganton made beers into Western North Carolina. Catawba Valley is also advertising for employees at probrewer.com.

Catawba Valley Brewing is looking to hire a brewer. More details to come.
