Carnival weekend kickoff in Asheville: Get on the Mardi Gras bus tonight

There are still seats still open on tonight’s 6pm Mardi Gras fundraiser ride with David Earl and The Plowshares! A feather-filled blast off into Asheville’s Carnival Weekend, Get on the Bus, people!!

Hop on the bus in your finest of Mardi Gras style finery and get down to the sweet harmonic sounds of Asheville’s infamous Plowshares.  These are 40 minute musical joy rides through town at 6pm and 7pm.

Dress warm, if the weather is mild the windows will be open.  Beer and wine permitted to passengers 21 and up.

Proceeds go to Asheville Mardi Gras.

Bus departs from Wicked Weed Brewing Co. 91 Biltmore Ave. downtown Asheville.

Ten bucks, totally fun, and you’re supporting Asheville’s Mardi Gras scene including our growing parade.
