Anybody know what’s up with Beanstreets? I was in downtown Ashvegas this afternoon and noticed that the entire facade had been painted a bland coffee color, the windows papered over and a handwritten note stuck on the door.

The note basically said “it’s time for us to go.” No real explanation. It went on to say that the owners hoped to reopen in a new downtown location, location unknown (or unspecified).

Beanstreets is another one of those mini-institutions, like Blue Moon, that moved into downtown Ashvegas before the big boom of recent years. The place always verged on being a dump, but it had its charm.

If anybody knows more, please let us know.
