–Asheville Barnaroo music festival at Franny’s Farm in Leicester features Southern Culture on the Skids, Holy Ghost Tent Revival, Parker Gispert (of The Whigs), Pierce Edens, The Resonant Rogues, Laura Blackley, Midnight Snack, The Get Right Band and more. Friday through Sunday.
-Sly Grog celebrates its new location on Haywood Road with a grand opening celebration that will last all weekend. Kickoff is 7:30 pm Friday, and the weekend features a lineup of eclectic music and late-night partying.
–Overland Expo East, Biltmore Estate, Friday through Sunday, an expo for adventure travelers.
-BEAT LIFE with Blockhead, Bombassic, Koresma, + Grizzleboogie brings world-class beats from internationally-renowned and local producers to New Mountain Asheville. 9 pm show, $12/$16.
–Black Mountain Songs at Diana Wortham Theatre, Friday and Saturday.
–Asheville Coffee Expo, Saturday on Ralph Street in the Asheville River Arts District.

–Blue Ridge Pride Festival, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Pack Square Park. Musical guests include Jane Kramer, Paper Crowns, Brie Capone, Calavera, Matt Ryans, Ashley Heath, Hospital Call, Brief Awakening, Jordan Okrend and more.
Woods & Wilds Storytelling and Music Festival, another event at Salvage Station, is a full day of storytelling, live music, and more to benefit Dogwood Alliance. $10 suggested donation; 1-10 pm.
