Jaclyn Smith, one of the original Charlie’s Angels, was spotted in downtown Asheville over the weekend, according to Asheville Scene Editor Jess McCuan, who tweeted the news:
Just had an @Ashevegas moment. Three vendors @ AVL Downtown Market were all excited because Jaclyn Smith of Charlie’s Angels stopped by!
Very exciting! I was always partial to Kate Jackson, but hey, they’re all angels, right? I have no idea what Ms. Smith was doing in town, but I took a quick look around and learned that she’s doing well for herself as a designer these days. From wiki on Jaclyn Smith:
In 1985, Smith entered the business world with the introduction of her collection of women’s apparel for Kmart. She pioneered the concept of celebrities developing their own brands rather than merely endorsing others. A season 15 episode of The Simpsons (“The Fat and the Furriest”) lampooned Smith’s many business successes, portraying her as having her own line of axe heads. In May 2009, Smith allowed a documentary crew to profile her home life, design philosophy and relationship with Kmart in an online video series sponsored by Kmart. Her foray into home furnishings was extended to Kmart stores in the fall of 2008, with the chain’s introduction of its Jaclyn Smith Today product line of bedding and bath accessories.
Who is Catherine Keener?
Catherine Keener was on my flight from Atlanta in August with her son…. she met her father there, I think.
I heard she was spotted at the Arden K-Mart getting the rest of her clothes back before they tear it down
Far and away the best post on this thread!
I saw her at Hip Replacements. Still glamorous, except for the broken foot boot she was dragging around.
As I recall Catherine Keener’s parents live in Brevard.
I heard from a friend that Catherine Keener was at City Bakery’s Waynesville restaurant last week.
