Jimmy Rentz, the owner of Barley’s Pizza on Biltmore Avenue in downtown Asheville, tweets about his son’s astonishing find – hundreds of dollars in cash in the pond at the Asheville Country Club in north Asheville

My son, messing around the country club pond came up on at least $1500 in inked 100 bills. Dang.

@Jameski07 That’s what I’m thinking. Haven’t found the big bag yet.

APD very excited about this cash find. $1700 total so far. Fire may come drain the pond.
