stir_crazy_2014This looks great. Press release here:

Things are heating up at Blue Ridge Food Ventures as we make final preparations for our event with the Asheville Affiliates, Stir Crazy! The after-work party on July 24, 6-9pm at the Boathouse pavilion at 318 Riverside Drive in Asheville’s River Arts District will benefit Blue Ridge Food Ventures (a program of AdvantageWest). Tickets are $20 online until 12 noon on Thursday ($25 at the door) and cover all food, beverages and entertainment.

This is a great opportunity to sample the delicious products of entrepreneurs who use Blue Ridge Food
Ventures. For example:
Pizza from BelloLea Artisan Kitchen (formerly known as GalloLea Pizza Kits).
Barbecue (including vegetarian options from Smiling Hara Tempeh) with sauces from Blue Ridge Food Ventures clients 5th Sun Specialties, Carolina Pig Polish, Consuming Fire, Fire From The Mountain, Firewalker Hot Sauce and Smoking J’s Fiery Foods, to name a few.
Blue Ridge Food Ventures client Catering by Corey will prepare an array of dishes using produce grown by local farmers from our Winter Sun Farms CSA program, with special ingredients from BRFV “graduate” Lusty Monk Mustard.
Desserts from Blue Ridge Food Ventures clients Sugar & Snow Gelato (using jam from BRFV “graduate” Imladris Farm), UliMana Chocolates and Vortex Doughnuts (winner of our Big Tasty contest last year).
A signature cocktail, the Summer Stir, featuring all-natural, hand-crafted mixers from Blue Ridge Food Ventures client Blue Blaze Soda & Syrup Co.
Hard cider from AdvantageWest Advantage Opportunity Fund portfolio client Noble Cider
Non-alcoholic kombucha from another Blue Ridge Food Ventures “graduate,” Buchi (also an AOF portfolio client).
And there’ll be plenty more food and beverage offerings from our other sponsors and contributors, including Catawba Brewing Co., Carriage House Distillery, Ingles, Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer, Short Street Cakes, Skyland Distributing Company and West End Bakery − all to enjoy to the beat of live gypsy jazz, Latin, and swing music from One Leg Up. Register today while space is still available!

Stir Crazy will be more than just a great opportunity for networking, noshing, and nipping on refreshing beverages – it will also be the hot spot for shopping, with the silent auction of the summer season.
