4th Annual YWCA Black & White Gala

“Find your funkiest black-and-white outfit, call your friends, and head down to the Orange Peel on Thursday, October 2 at 7:00 pm for the YWCA’s Black & White Gala. Although the name might conjure up images of genteel society, this party promises boisterous fun and everyone is invited.

Be ready to hit the dance floor with Johnny White & the Elite Band as they dance, change costumes, and put on quite a show. You don’t need to bring a date, as group dancing is completely acceptable and actually encouraged.

The event features auctions including fun, items with a local twist, and great food provided by local restaurants.

The event is a major fundraiser for the YWCA of Asheville. Proceeds will help provide programs bridging gaps in education, health care, and child care experienced by women and minorities.”
