Performer Andre’ Ellerby

Your Feet’s Too Big! Cabaret, an exhilarating evening of song, will feature the music of three iconic composers and will be brought to life by three talented performers with ties to both Asheville and Hendersonville.

The show is set for 7 p.m. on Feb. 29 at the recently renovated Center for Art & Entertainment on South Main Street in Hendersonville. Tickets are $30. Get tickets here.

The one-night-only show will feature the amazing music of composers Stephen Foster, Jason Robert Brown and Fats Waller. It will also star the sensational voices of MK Penley  and Andre’ Ellerby, as well as the dazzling piano of David Troy Francis.

Your Feet’s Too Big! Cabaret will be both a poignant and exhilarating night of music and song. “Your Feet’s Too Big” is a song composed in 1936 by Fred Fisher with lyrics by Ada Benson, and has been recorded a number of entertainers, perhaps most notably by Waller.

Here’s a quick video of a recent rehearsal for the show.
