Here’s a photo of WWNC’s Jerri Jamison working hard on the news trail, interviewing some Hillary Clinton supporters Sunday while awaiting the visit of Chelsea Clinton. (Sorry Chelsea, I couldn’t stay. Next time, how about being on time.)

Anyway, the big media news is that Jim Mackenzie, a WWNC reporter, has decided to jump ship and take a job as a WLOS producer. So Jim is becoming a WLOSer! Jim, good luck. Meantime, Jerri says she’s looking to hire a part-time reporter or two. Like, now. Because there’s a former sheriff’s trial coming up. And a primary election coming up.

Clear Channel has a pretty strict non-compete agreement. Wonder how Jim got out of that one (or if he did)? As far as I know he’s an associate producer and his first day was today (4/28).
