Here’s the information, from loyal reader Jessica:

I wanted to let you know about a really great contest we have running on Rock 104.9’s website right now. We’re asking for video submissions from WNC high school choirs which will be voted on by our listeners. One lucky group will get to sing a song with Foreigner live on stage when they perform at Biltmore on Sept. 1! They also will receive $500 from the band for their choir group.

Here are the rules:

Contest is open to Western North Carolina (Counties: Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Swain, Macon, Jackson, Haywood, Madison, Buncombe, Henderson, Transyvania, Yancey) high school choruses or choirs of no more that 25 high school students.

Choir must upload a public YouTube video to their own account, and then send the link along with the following info to [email protected] by August 16 at 11:59pm:

High school name and city
Number of members
Choir director’s name and phone number
The winning choir group will get to perform “I Want to Know What Love Is” with Foreigner live on stage at their Biltmore performance on Saturday, September 1. In addition, the group will man merchandise booths before and after the show, and will also get a $500 donation to their choir from Foreigner!
