Wick & Greene hiding little gifts around Asheville as part of Secret Santa promotion

Wick & Greene Jewelers in downtown Asheville has launched a neat little holiday program: the store is hiding little gift boxes around town featuring small items from the store as part of a “Secret Santa” promotion.

I think that’s a great idea, and I’m going to steal it. So be on the look-out for Ashvegas gift packs stashed around town. If you find it, you get to keep it. You’ll be treated to such giftees as Ashvegas T-shirts and bumper stickers, Blue Barnhouse cards, and a bunch of crap I’m re-gifting. But it’s all good.

I found one of the Wick and Greene surprises today. I met my husband for lunch at Tupelo Honey with our toddler and after lunch went to grab a Mountain Express and on top of the papers was a neatly wrapped gift. It was a seed pearl bracelet. It was a very nice surprise.
