The annual Warren Haynes Christmas Jam may be sold out on Saturday, but there are plenty of ways to take part in the event. Check out our video, where we talk about how the Christmas Jam proceeds benefit the Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity.
Friday
–Satellite Gallery on Broadway in downtown Asheville will open their show in honor of the Christmas Jam starting at 3 p.m. Every year, Satellite donates proceeds from the sale of donated art to the Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity, which is also the beneficiary of proceeds from ticket sales to the Christmas Jam.
-PUSH Skate Shop will open its rock art show, The Illustrated ROCK ART of NC, at 7 p.m. with the band Nugget Box. This show is also held in conjunction with Christmas Jam.
-Catch Christmas Jam music in music venues including The Altamont Theatre, Asheville Music Hall and Jack of the Wood on Friday and Saturday during the Jam by Day.
Saturday
-Satellite Gallery in store performance by Holly Bowling as part of Christmas Jam.
–Mr. Fred’s Fair, an art market featuring the work of locals artists and makers, starts at noon at The Mothlight.
-The Refinery Creator Space and Open Hearts Art Center are hosting an open studio sale with beautifully crafted gifts from the artists of both buildings. The event starts at noon.
