Here’s some of what I’ve been hearing:

– The last day for Sisters McMullen bake shop in the lower level of the Jackson building on Pack Square is this Friday, April 19. The Sisters McMullen still operates its cupcake shop at the corner of Patton and Biltmore, but the Jackson building shop is closing down Friday.

Ed Boudreaux’s is preparing to open a new location in Brevard. The popular barbecue joint has done well at its Biltmore Avenue location in downtown Ashvegas for a couple of years now.

Heard any restaurant news? Lemme know.

I heard Caffiend has closed or is about to close. I was in there Tuesday morning and Matt told me, which seems like a pretty reliable source. Too bad, I like good coffee at 4 in the morning.

The old Trevi’s in Biltmore Village will soon become a high-end Mexi joint: Rosie’s Cantina, I think.

Rumor has it there’s a good new Mexican restaurant where BJ’s drive-in was in Woodfin…and they supposedly have a yummy avocado margarita, a concoction I’ve been dying to try for years.
