Yes, that’s right. Pat “Simple Simon, Tallahassee Tammy Watford and Mike “Cuervo” Cuevas did the wave on set this evening. They did it badly. Is that really the best way to lend credibility to your so-called newscast? We don’t think so.

Out and about with Tammy
WLOSers showed up late at a couple of events on Thursday – the UNCA media day and an Education Coalition fund-raiser.

Tammy showed up to the media day to do one of those “never-stop-learning” reports she does. Guess she was talking to high school students who were learning about news writing and photography and such.

Then Tammy showed up late to the Education Coalition’s Playground Classic, where a bunch of people run around doing craziness to raise money for the nonprofit. Everybody had to do the last event over again just for the television cameras. Give us a break.

marc, i think the point is that the event was over, but wlos needed video, so they asked everyone to do the last event over again – not that these folks wanted to be on tv.

tammy is supposed to be the "chairwoman" of the event or whatever, and she shows up at the last minute???

So it’s Tammy’s fault that the people wanted to be on TV badly enough to re-do their event? Or has the city passed a new ordinance that requires its citizens to do whatever the TV folk ask?
