three_days_of_lightSounds like a cool event. Press release:

Now in its second year, the “Three Days of Light” (3DL) gathering is returning to Western North Carolina October 11-13 at the glorious Hot Springs Campground in Hot Springs, NC. Produced by Emergence Earth, 3DL is a 3-day music and healing arts festival designed according to the principle mission, or “Four Pillars” of Emergence Earth: sustainability, natural health and wellness, personal spiritual development, and community and culture. 3DL attendees will explore a fertile ground rich with workshops, interactive art, musical guests and performance artists.  3DL will give attendees new tools to expand their relationship with the principles of ecological, interpersonal, spiritual wellness not just 3 days, but 365 days a year.

Over 50 lecture-based and experiential workshops will explore these “Four Pillars” throughout the day during the festival in a holistic “mind-body-spirit” approach. 3DL attendees will get a rare opportunity to set sail on an in-depth journey into topics such as sustainable living, activating personal power and effectiveness, sacred geometry, crystal healing, sound therapy, and more. Yoga, meditation, and flow arts (fire spinning, poi, hula) classes will be offered throughout the weekend.

3DL will feature a wide variety of local and internationally-recognized DJ’s, bands, and live performing artists dedicated to uplift and inspire 3DL attendees, elevating guests to fully integrate new ideas and insights received during the day’s workshops and events. Performers include: Fransisco De Tavira II, HuDost, Kri, Skytree, Dixon’s Violin, Numatik, Jason Coehn (Forestdance, Incus), A Ghost Like Me, Option 22, Asheville Drum and Bass Collective, and many more. Over a dozen live painters will capture these moments on canvas. Performances are scheduled Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

Located on the beautiful Hot Springs Campground alongside the French Broad River, 3DL attendees will enjoy the sounds of the river throughout their visit to 3DL and Hot Springs. The event will be open to the public throughout the weekend. Ticket prices vary according to camping and lodging preferences; guests may choose standard inland camping, riverside camping, RV sites, and single cabin bunks for the weekend. Vending tickets are available and each vending type includes two tickets to all 3DL events and activities. Weekend day passes and single day passes are also available.
