Night of the Living Dead @ Magnetic 375

7:30 pm

Different Strokes! Performing Arts Collective brings you bloody fun and the zombie apocalypse. The show runs Thursdays through Saturdays until 11/19. 

Friday

Veteran’s Day. Take time out to honor the men and women who fight for our country.

The 4th Annual Faerie Arts Festival @ the Renaissance Hotel

7-10 pm

This adults-only fashion and art show brings together talent from the region for a night of the dark arts. Check out our feature on Asheville Grit here.

11:11 Awaken Asheville @ Timo’s House

9:30 pm – 1:30 am

Local and regional hip-hop artists and producers, including Bryan Divisions and Siyah, come together for a night of consciousness-expanding music. Check out our preview post here.

How I Learned to Drive @ 35 Below

7:30 Friday and Saturday; 2:30 Sunday

This Pulitzer-winning play is produced by Attic Salt Productions and is happening at 35 Below (under Asheville Community Theater). Shows continue through this weekend and next, running Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 and Sundays at 2:30 pm. Read the review on Asheville Grit here.

RAD Studio Stroll @ the River Arts District

10 am Saturday – 5 pm Sunday

The Fall stroll is here! See what local artists in the RAD are up to and get some art! Through Sunday.

Goose Island Migration Week Event @ Salvage Station

until 2 am Saturday

This is a weekend-long event that celebrates Goose Island Brewing’s rare and popular beer offerings. While the event is free, you must RSVP. The first 100 people to RSVP will receive a Goose Island food voucher and a special surprise (oooo). Live music, appropriately, from Murmuration. Register here.

Sunday

Jeff Thompson’s Big Ol’ Birfday Bash @ Isis Theater

7:30-11:30 pm

Help one of our favorite local musicians celebrate his birthday in style! Featuring music and dance performances, art projection, and special guests.
