We got our tree this year at the Farmers Market … Levi’s first Christmas tree!!!! In the very back, toward the left, right-hand stalls, third or so one down, there’s a lovely lady name JoAnn who sold us a gorgeous tree at a great price 🙂 Her name is on the banner.
I just got home from the Annual Report on the progress of the 10-Year plan to end homelessness. Great presentations and breakout groups.
As the economy sours, fewer dollars are going to have to do more. If you want to help – it’s time to get out there and volunteer.
I know it may not be possible, or even recommended by Gannett, but I wish the Citizen-Times’ publisher had to actually deliver the layoff news to real people and see real tears and pain. And I really wish the AC-T would quit listing 300 employees on its Web site when the number is more like 190 and will soon be 130 after the press plant closes.
