I do, im responsible and I dont have to use Buzzwords as "Grassroots" to do it. You cant attack a buzz word to just anything and make it sound cool.
You have to have Insurance on a home in Asheville city Limits and I think that in some places you have to have buisiness insurance as well. . . . . .
"Cultural development" . . that is a laugh thanks for the chuckle.
So to be clearer, and more inclusive, the event is now the "Asheville Anti-Vandalism Fundraiser" …the new title might not be quite as eye-catching, but the event really isn't that agro…… If you need the newest flyer, say the word.
@ Asheville Dweller – I'm curious if you have insurance to cover someone throwing a cinder block through your computer? Comprehensive insurance coverage is cost preventative for many grassroots creative professionals… professionals, as in: not merely 'living their dream' but directly contributing to our community's cultural and economic development.
Nope Dr. Don, I read it the same way! A bit too ambiguous.
Don't these people have insurance on their vehicles and businesses or are they expecting the people to step up and fund that too.
Too many in this town depend on others to get by to live their dream.
They need to work on their sign!
I read it and thought they were meaning Fuck Asheville!!! Were having a fundraiser to support vandalism!!! Help us buy new bricks, bats and more!
I might be the only one to have misread this though….
