Second JOYride in honor of Laurey Masterton set for May 17

About the JOYride: Laurey Masterton at The JOYride
Event starts at 12:30 pm, rides begin at 1 pm, starting the day off with the Kids Ride. The JOYRide is an Asheville-area cycling event to celebrate life and health and raise scholarship funds to allow local individuals to participate in LIVESTRONG at the YMCA! The event will take place Saturday, May 17th at Carrier Park. For more information about ride details, sponsorships, or donating, contact Rachel Dudasik at [email protected] or 828-210-9607.

Ride Options:
-All rides start and end at Carrier Park
-Quarter Century (25 miles)
-Half Century (50 miles)
-125 km (approx. 77 miles) *In honor of the YMCA of WNC’s 125th Anniversary
-Kids Ride – Around the track at Carrier Park, bike safety lessons available before and after the ride
-InSpirit Ride – for those who would love to support the cause or a loved one but would rather ride “in spirit” can make a donation in any amount

Registration**:
-Road rides – $51.50
-Kids Ride – $5.15
Ride fees follow the theme of $515, the amount it costs to send one person through LIVESTRONG at the YMCA.

**All riders will need to agree to a waiver during the registration process to participate. Please read through the waiver here before you register: JOYride Waiver.
