Ray’s Weather, the best source of localized weather forecasting, puts out his “fearless” winter forecast each year. Over the past decade, he’s run up a solid track record of getting it mostly right. Ray didn’t correctly call all the snow we had last year, but he did predict that it would be one of the harshest winters in the last 15 years.

For this winter, Ray is calling for temperatures to be slightly milder than normal. And because this year is a La Nina year, he says it will be somewhat drier than normal. Ray says Asheville will get 11 inches of snow this winter.

Thanks to loyal reader Jen for pointing me to this.

When the weather is dreadful the humidity gets higher.the moist air may cause breathing problems and other ailments.to avoid this we can make use of machines like dehumidifiers which absorbs all the moisture from the damp air and gives the fresh air.
