The sold-out Warren Haynes Christmas Jam was another amazing event at the U.S. Cellular Center in Asheville on Saturday night. This year was the 27th annual, and highlights included the Doobie Brothers rocking their classics, the Tedeschi Trucks Band blowing the roof off the joint, Bruce Hornsby playing a lovely dulcimer and Dawes easing into a smooth cover of Pink Floyd’s “Shine on Crazy Diamond.”
Warren Haynes was incredible, as always. He opened with a beautiful cover of George Harrison’s “Give Me Love.” He jumped in and jammed with his guests, and his Ashes and Dust band rocked.
