Mad Tea Party will hold a 5 Year Anniversary Show on Saturday, October 4 at the Grey Eagle in Asheville. Mad Tea Party is Ami Worthen (electrified ukulele, vocals) and Jason Krekel (juke-joint guitar, fiddle, food percussion, vocals). They play a danceable mix of uke-abilly, garage pop and rock ʽnʼ roll. Mad Tea Party will be joined at the Grey Eagle by garage rock band Howlies and rockabilly dandy Jem Crossland. The show will begin at 9:00 pm. Admission is $8. More information can be found at www.themadteaparty.com.

Lora Pendleton played bass with Mad Tea Party from late 2004 until fall of 2006. So it’s been 2 years since she’s been in the band.
