One World Brewing is coming to Asheville, aka Beer City USA. Asheville and Buncombe County are already home to something to the tune of 10 breweries, with two more coming. From One World Brewing’s website:

One World Brewing is a Community Supported Brewing endeavor. We offer shares of brew rather than selling it by the pint or bottle. For instance, $40 a month will get you two gallons of beer from a twenty gallon batch. We use only the finest and freshest ingredients, much of which are grown locally. Choose your monthly fee and get your share of each batch. INTRODUCTORY OFFER : $30 FOR FIRST MONTH!

Tony Kiss, the Asheville Citizen-TimesBeer Guy, just talked to the owner, who says he’s still working out details, but hopes to open in the basement of the former Ed Boudreaux’s barbecue joint on Biltmore Avenue in downtown Asheville. Ed Boudreaux’s closed earlier this year.

More details to come.
