Participating breweries are: Highland Brewing, Asheville Brewing Company, Pisgah Brewing, Green Man Brewery, Craggie Brewing and French Broad Brewing Company.
The winners of the Stein Hoistenbech and festival-wide costume contest will each receive two tickets to the Anthony Bourdain show at Thomas Wolfe Auditorium on November 5, so start practicing your hoisting form and break out your lederhosen and dirndls.
“Oompah” band, The Stratton Mountain Boys, will keep the party going with traditional Bavarian tunes, yodeling songs, shoe-slapping dances and spirited Polka music. Festival-goers can satisfy their cravings for German staples like bratwurst, pretzels and traditional sides from Cucina 24, Jack of the Wood and The Market Place served with local favorite Lusty Monk Mustard and Beulah’s Bavarian Pretzels.
