Dotson_Wright_2013From Dotson Wright’s obituary at legacy.com. Rollin’ Pin Bakery was an institution in North Asheville for decades.

Dotson Wright, died unexpectedly April 13th 2013. He was born September 17th 1928. Dotson was the owner and operator of Rollin’ Pin Bakery for 40 years. He was a former president of The South Eastern Retail Bakers Association and he achieved the title of Master Baker. He was former president of Lion’s Club North and served on the board of the YMCA for many years. He was very active in First Baptist Church of Asheville, leading Bible classes, Training Union, youth ministry and he participated in mission trips. He taught baking at AB Tech and shared his love and talent of the profession with many. Dotson was an athlete and professional boxer. His ring name was Dodo and he championed 54 of 78 fights in the southeast region.
