Anne Fitten Glenn, beer writer for the Mountain Xpress, tweets the news from her Twitter account, @Brewgasm:

There’s a new #asheville supper club getting started up–Altamont Supper: !st dinner poss in Aug.

Geoff Ferland & Zika Singogo (One Stop) are principals in new Altamont Supper Club. Like @Blind_Pig_Ashvl, will donate proceeds.

If you’re not familiar with the Blind Pig supper club, it’s a great month dinner featuring the work of a local chef or chefs combined with a featured local artist and local music. The dinner is pricey – usually about $65 per person – but you’re served more food than you’ll ever eat, and you’ll have a great time dining with friends and being entertained. Blind Pig’s dinners sell out quickly.

Altamont Supper on Facebook. More details as I get them.
