I actually know Larry really well. Simply amazing reporter, one of the best. He is now with Fox in Indy. He is doing very well and I am sure we will see his name in the very big news channels soon.
dang. Larry was my buddy (sort of). He and I covered a couple of local NASCAR events together two years ago (Kyle Petty fundraiser & Michael Waltrip signing).
They should put *ME* on the air 🙂 Wouldn’t I make a cool weathergirl?! HEE!

I’ve been wondering about that all weekend. WLOS must be having a really hard time finding somebody that they want. I just noticed tonight on their site that they have the Weekend Weather Anchor re-posted for a 3rd time.
Yeah, it’s really tough to sit through her weather. I can’t blame her for not being familiar with the area or the WLOS graphics (since it seems they just threw her to the wolves), but her voice is grating.
I wonder if they’ll ever find someone to take that weekend weather job.

Bmac, do you know if these new folks are temps or are they the replacements? If Rodriguez is the replacement, I’ll never be able to watch ABC 13 Weather on the weekends ever again…

There’s another sports guy, Adam something, who seems to be the new sports reporter taking over Larry Hawley’s spot. Wikipedia shows Hawley with WXIN Fox59 in Indy. Harrington is filling in for Edward McDonald, who has been MIA for over a month at least.

WLOS had a new weather girl and a very young guy doing sports. I posted some comments in regards to them on another website just to have someone tell me that they are doing freelance work until they hire new people. I’ll take their word for it because WLOS didn’t add any new profiles to their website.
Who was the new weather gal? I didn’t see her name in a graphic…
