juice_bar_asheville_2_2015Zack and Jenni Bier, the founders of the Roaming in the Raw food trailer and catering service, are planning to open a new juice bar and cafe on South Liberty Street just north of downtown Asheville. Here’s their announcement:

See this awesome storefront? Guess what… This is our new spot! We get the keys next week and will be renovating it into our dream juice bar and cafe! We are super psyched to better serve all of our amazing Asheville customers at our new location at 233 South Liberty St, Asheville NC 28801. It’s a great spot in a cool neighborhood right next to the Asheville Yoga Center and Asheville Yoga Donation Studio. More details to come, thanks everyone!!! By the way, if you’d like to get in on our Tuesday juice deliveries, please let us know by this afternoon, 828-713-7513.

When Roaming in the Raw hit the streets of Asheville a couple of years ago as an organic, cold-pressed juice comapny. They’ve been serving salads, organic juices, raw vegan entrees and even raw desserts out of their food trailer since they opened.

The juice bar will be located directly between the Karate School and the Hair Salon.

Maybe I’m wrong, but personally I wouldn’t call anything north of 240 “Downtown.” It’s super close to downtown, and easily walkable, but the only tourists and downtown wanderers who will go past this store will be the ones heading traveling back and forth from the B&B’s in the neighborhood.

They’re a great business, though, and I definitely hope they succeed. These are the folks who have been selling fresh cut microgreens at the North Asheville tailgate as well as juice, right?

I’m with you Nat: not really downtown, I wish them the best– but that location seems a bit off the beaten path…

As they point out in their announcement it is “near” the new Yoga Center location so that may help…
