It might help if you did even a little bit of research and got your facts right. Judge Dray was appointed to a DISTRICT court seat weeks ago to replace Judge Pope, who was appointed to Superior Court. Yesterday, Gov. Perdue appointed Ward Scott to replace Shirley Brown. Judge Scott was previously a local attorney. She appointed Ed Clontz to replace Sharon Barrett. Judge Clontz was the assistant clerk of superior court for Buncombe County. Sharon Barrett was a district court judge who was appointed to a special Superior Court seat. Research, people, research!
